skiing trails
Jakuszce
– a well known Centre for Cross-Country
Skiing – great conditions for practicing
cross-country skiing for both amateurs and
professionals. Owing to fantastic climatic
conditions, thick snow covers this area till
late Spring. For years, a famous among
cross-country skiing fans, event – Bieg
Piastów (The Race of Piasts) has been held
here (in 2000 it was held on 12th March).
The Centre for Cross-Country Skiing
“Jakuszyce” offers trails representing
various levels of difficulty, ranging from
very easy to very difficult ones and their
overall length amounts to over 100km.

trail – 7,5km long
Professional trail (reserve) of “Jelfa”
(pharmaceutical company) from Jelenia Góra
– length 5km, at the altitude of 1000m
a.s.l.
“Droga Elektrowni Turów” (Turów Power
Plant’s Route) – length 13km

Trail) along the railway – length 12 km
All
trails make loops in the shape of a clover
leaf and cross each other, offering a chance
to join and combine them while practising
races.

highest point of the trails – 1001m a.s.l.
The lowest point of the trails – 752m
a.s.l. (near Harrachov).

the Centre for Cross-Country Skiing
“Jakuszyce” there is a rental of
